For over 50 years, the cattle ranching operations of this family-run
business have existed in harmony with nature conservation efforts. The mission of Hato Piñero has
always been to assure the balance between the careful exploitation of the natural resources
of the area, and the preservation and protection of the ecosystem's indigenous species. Once
a private reserve, Hato Piñero now supports a foundation highly regarded by biologists the world over.
